Inheritance of the past, rice fields and wildlife

Day 1: Flight to Colombo
Overnight on board.

Day 2: Habarana
Upon arrival at the Colombo airport, meet and transfer to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Habarana - Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - Trincomalee
After breakfast, transfer to the city of monuments and art, Sigiriya. We continue route to the medieval capital, Polonnaruwa where we will lose ourselves among its huge Buddhist statues and Hindu sculptures. We will end the day arriving at Tricomalee. Overnight at Trincomalee.

Day 4: Trincomalee
Free day with optional visit to see dolphins and whales. Overnight at Trincomalee.

Day 6: Trincomalee - Dambulla - Matale - Kandy
After breakfast, transfer to Dambulla to visit he well-known Golden Temple, where a gigantic Buddha gleams in gold. We will enter the cave, where the temple is located, to discover fantastic rock paintings and hundreds of Buddhist statues. We continue route to Matale to visit the garden of the species and observe the therapeutic values ​​of these species. Transfer to Kandy. Overnight at Kandy.

Day 7: Kandy
Visit the city of Kandy, noted for its beauty and for being the heart of Buddhism. Overnight at Kandy.

Day 8: Kandy - Tea plantation - Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, transfer to Nuwara Eliva. On the way we will stop to visit the tea plantation, famous for the prestigious Ceylon tea brand. We arrived at Nuwara Eliya and observed impressive views of green valleys of the mountainous region pierced by endless waterfalls. overnight at Nuwara Eliya.

Day 9: Nuwara Eliya - Ella - Yala - Tissmaharama
Breakfast and transfer to Yala. Visit the Yala National Park where we will find elephants, sloths, jackals, birds and a great density of leopards.

Day 10: Tissmaharama - Weligama - Galle - Hikkaduwa
After breakfast, transfer to Weligama, charming fishing village. We continue route to Galle to make a city visit. Transfer to Hikkaduwa. Overnight at Hikkaduwa hotel.

Day 11: Hikkaduwa - Balapitiy - Kosgoda - Colombo
Breakfast and transfer to Balapitjya to do a boat safari through the clear waters of the Madu river. We continue route to Kosgoda to visit the famous turtle hatchery. Transfer to Colombo. Overnight at Colombo hotel.

Day 12: Colombo
City tour Colombo Overnight at Colombo hotel.

Day 13: Colombo - Colombo airport
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take the flight back.

Day 14: Arrival
Arrival at the home city.
